What the Rolex Pearlmaster is
Rolex launched the Pearlmaster in 1992 as a Datejust variant with a rounded case and a five-piece bracelet. References sit in the 8xxxxx range, such as 80315 and 81339.
Two sizes exist. The Pearlmaster 34 measures 34 mm across. The Pearlmaster 39 arrived in 2015 and measures 39 mm. Cases come in 18k yellow gold, 18k white gold, 18k Everose gold, and platinum.
The 34 mm models use calibre 2235 or 2236. The 39 mm models use calibre 3235 with a 70-hour power reserve. Bezels hold diamonds or sapphires. The bracelet has five rounded links.
How replicas differ from the genuine watch

US law on counterfeit watches
18 U.S.C. 2320 covers trafficking in counterfeit goods. A first offense carries up to 10 years in prison and fines up to $2 million for an individual and $5 million for a corporation.
The Lanham Act, 15 U.S.C. 1114, lets Rolex sue sellers. Statutory damages reach $2 million per counterfeit mark when the use is willful.
US Customs and Border Protection seizes counterfeit watches at ports of entry. Personal orders shipped from overseas can be seized and destroyed. Buying for personal use is not a federal crime. Selling, importing, and trafficking are.
