A genuine Speedmaster with Calibre 9900 trades in the mid four figures on the secondary market, and prices move with box, papers, and service history. Listings far below that band, especially from sellers who avoid movement photos or refuse a video of the chronograph running, are the ones to walk away from. Ask for a movement shot with the rotor visible, a running chronograph clip, and a photo of the certification card next to the caseback. A seller who cannot supply all three is not offering a watch worth your money.
